Retail traders under age 35 represent 67% of clone firm victims in 2026, according to data from regional complaint databases. This cohort prioritizes low entry costs and fast account opening over identity verification, making them primary targets. Mobile-first traders in Southeast Asia, India, and Eastern Europe face the highest exposure due to limited broker education and fragmented regulatory oversight in their home markets.
